Welcome to Pretty Things Glitter 

My name is Melanie, I'm the face behind Pretty Things Glitter. I'm a mum to one very mischievous little boy and I've been married to my amazing husband for 18 years.

I worked for the same company for 22 years and left to have our little IVF miracle ( who is now 5 years old ). I took voluntary redundancy while on maternity leave at the end of 2018, as my job meant working away from home Monday to Friday and I didn't want to go back to working away with a baby. 

I've always been a crafty person and enjoy making things from scratch.
Once our little boy turned 4 years old I decided I wanted to do something that meant I could use my creative mind again, and as all my family and friends love candles and wax melts I thought wax melts would be a good place to start ( knowing I would have lots of testers that would be very honest with feedback ).

All my wax melts are made with eco-friendly plant based soy wax which is vegan, cruelty free, non toxic, biodegradable and made in the UK. I use fragrance oils that are 100% concentrate for a stronger scent and they are vegan and cruelty free. The Glitter I use is also biodegradable. 

I'm working hard to be as eco-friendly as possible. I aim for all of my packaging to be either recyclable, biodegradable or compostable. I even re-use the boxes and packaging that my supplies are delivered in. 

Made and despatched from my home in Clacton-on-sea, Essex. Every wax melt is handmade and hand-poured by myself with love.
I'm fully CLP compliant and insured.
